Local Bites: There is no shortage of restaurants in Kentish Town and the neighbouring streets. So many, in fact, the area has been described by the Financial Times as offering a ‘vibrant and cultural foodie life’ full of ‘talented young chefs.’ Sample from the everchanging menu at The Junction Tavern, described as “a heavenly gastro experience” by the Evening Standard, and enjoy far more than a pint at The Bull and Last, winner of the 2011 Observer Food Monthly Awards. Odette’s, run by the Great British Menu winner Bryn Williams, and Limonia, one of London’s best Greeks, are amongst our favourites. Further afield, you’ll find fifteenMichelin starred restaurants within four miles.

Night Life: With a wealth of pubs, restaurants, and bars all the way from Chalk Farm to Mornington Crescent, you won’t have far to look for a great night out. Home to the Roundhouse, and Koko, Timeout London says that “when it comes to live music in London, the scene is thriving in Camden”.
